Bravo - real housewives motion design

Overview

Bravo is one of the largest cable brands in the industry.

Its Real Housewives fanbase is extremely loyal which is why some of the Real Housewives series are entering their 20th season with no signs of slowing down.

Bravo had a light refresh in 2023 by Loyal Kaspar who created a design system for the original series, hero brand and the brand essentials.
I came in to continue and expand the design system to fit the enormous complexity of the deliverables. I previously worked for Oxygen, Bravo’s sister network, for 10 years.

OBJECTIVE

Help Bravo’s design team relaunch it’s first (silent) rebrand in 10 years.

OBJECTIVE

Promote this new fish-out-of-water series, with the fan favorites, two big stars of Real Housewives of New York, Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan.

Results

The Crappie Lake Announcement was met with excitement across social, and an extremely low negative sentiment volume at only 1%. The announcement performed strongest on Instagram, with Twitter and Facebook following. The super-tease outperformed across 3 out of 4 channels versus 2022 New Show performance and significantly outperformed 2022 Real Housewife Benchmarks on Instagram.

The series high was for Episode 17, Reunion Part 1 with 0.26 in the demo (18-49) and 814,000 viewers.

 

 

Bravo hero Brand design Sizzle

Loyal Kaspar completed its delivery of the new Bravo brand system, but there was still more work to be done. LK’s designs focused on the many many shows in Bravo’s orbit, but Bravo still needed a hero design for the Bravo brand itself.

The resulting easy to use hero toolkit connects together with the many Bravo endpages and interstitials in the cut
bringing it simply and elegantly to its absolute best.

Create a fun video for internal distribution with Bravo-lebrities to engage employees to bring their best ideas forward.

Results

This video was a enjoyed by the staff and produced a record number of brainstormed ideas.
