All Voting is local - hero spot

The "hero spot," served as a rallying cry, inspiring viewers to actively engage in their communities. It was the first of four spots created in a rapid, four-week sprint during October 2020, followed by three how-to videos addressing common voter suppression challenges.

Process

In a rapid, four-week sprint during October 2020, our team produced four spots, one spot per week leading up to the election.

The initial hero spot was followed by three how-to videos addressing voter suppression challenges like long lines, language barriers, and missing IDs. These spots featured engaging character animations and aimed to empower potential voters. See them here.

overview

All Voting is Local created a campaign that targeted POC communities who may be experiencing voter suppression in their communities. It empowered young people at less personal risk from getting sick from Covid-19 to come out and be a poll worker.
Formats included 4 x 2:00 videos created in 1x1, 9x16 & 16x9 for Facebook, Instagram & Tik Tok.
